This is a beautiful little place. We enjoyed a week here with our 17 month old daughter. The pool is fantastic for little kids. The kitchen was well equipped. My chef husband was able to cook up some great meals in there. Pros: Clean, modern unitFriendly neighbours and staffOutside shower Pool areaLocation. 5 minute drive to shops and beachAir conditioning in every roomCons:The path in was not lit at all. We arrived at night and had trouble finding the place. No screen door so we were unable to leave the main door open for fresh air. No BBQPolyester sheets. (not a big deal to some but I like a breathable fabric. especially in a hot climate). Would book again!!

Casa Rafiki is the perfect jungle escape! It’s super peaceful and tucked away in nature, but still close enough to town and the surf at Guiones and Ostional. The house is modern, comfy, and recently updated, with a queen sofa pull-out and all the essentials. The outdoor space is huge, and the pool is great for cooling off. Best part? The monkeys! You’ll hear and see them daily. If you want a quiet, off-the-beaten-path stay with all the comforts, this place is a gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

My friends and I had the best stay! The walk to the beach was quick and easy, not to mention beautiful. The house itself is gorgeously decorated and comfortably fit all 6 of us. We had such a fun time enjoying the Costa Rican weather in the pool. This place was really conducive to a perfect girls trip! We were able to cook our own meals and enjoy them outside by the pool. It was pristine on arrival and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

This was our 3rd trip to Costa Rica, our 1st to Guiones/Nosara. My husband and I, our adult son and friend stayed at Casa Vidrio for 3 weeks. My niece and her husband joined us for a few days. There was plenty of room for all of us. It is a perfect location…10 minute walk to the surfing at Playa Guiones, a 10 minute walk to the Bodhi Tree for a yoga class or a great meal, a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. It is private and peaceful. There are 2 studio apartments also on the property and the pool is shared. A lovely setting around the pool which is refreshing and cleaned regularly. You feel like you are in the jungle! Beautiful views from the many windows and you can sit on the expansive porch and watch the Howlers and colourful birds. It is very comfortable….good A/C, well furnished kitchen, very nice beds and a laundry room. We did have a few issues during our stay but they were dealt with promptly and fairly. Staff, workmen and cleaning crew are responsive and lovely!
